We had so much fun going to Cannon Beach to visit our friends Jill, Andy, Ash, and Arya. We had a beautiful day--got to play at a park, dip our feet in the waves, and go swimming. Needless to say Alex crashed on the way home.

Alex and Ash loved jumping in the pool--Alex looks upset but it is really her camera "smile"--she was loving it!)

Alex requests blueberries several times a day. She usually has blue finger nail beds because the blueberries stain them and not enough time passes between blueberry sessions for the staining to wear away.

easter 2012

What a fun Easter we had! Nana came down Easter weekend to spend time with us. We got to go to a Providence Hospital Easter egg hunt with Annie, Robbie, and Kenny. Alex was fascinated by the Easter bunny...she would go close and stare but not touch him (I think she eventually gave him a high five) and loved finding the balls (Easter eggs).

Unfortunately Ryan worked Easter day, so the Easter bunny came early for Alex :)

On Easter day, Alex and I got to spend the day with the Butlers. Jane had a basket with goodies for Arlo and Alex. We got to go on another Easter egg hunt and color eggs (Alex had a little spill involving blue dye). When Ryan came home that evening we had Easter dinner--Arlo and Alex had fun riding their bikes and playing with toys.

Right about the time the weather started turning warm, Alex decided that she liked to wear her winter hat...even inside. Hopefully, her new fondness of hats will transfer to her summer hat!
